The Alpha Seminar will equip anyone attending “a one-stop shop” to run an effective Alpha course to give guest the opportunity to investigate the meaning of life and find a personal faith in Jesus Christ. We will cover Alpha in different contexts (workplace, college, school, prisons & churches!) and for different ages (from youth to adults & senior citizens).  Specific topics covered will include The DNA of Alpha,  Alpha Toolkit, Alpha in different contexts, Ministry on Alpha, Developing an evangelism strategy & following on after Alpha.

Paul Davie is the national director of Alpha Scotland, which networks over 500 churches from every denomination, to equip and envision them to play their part in the re-evangelisation of the nation and the transformation of society.

Before taking up the post at Alpha Scotland in 2008, Paul pastored at City Church in Aberdeen for 12 years, and has degrees in the unrelated disciplines of theology and accountancy!  Over the last few years he has led Global Alpha Training teams from Scotland to India to train & equip church leaders. His passions are to see the church equipped for mission & ministry, and to see Jesus become the "talk of Scotland". Paul is married to Gillian who is a physiotherapist and they have three lively teenage boys. They now live and worship in Bearsden, Glasgow.
