Barbara Jenkinson

Dr Barbara Jenkinson has served in Christian leadership and ministry for over 20 years and has a strong passion to see people grow in intimacy with Jesus and be raised up to walk into their full destiny and calling. Barbara leads Light & Life - an outreach organisation that combines creative gifts (e.g. art, music & massage) with prophecy, dream interpretation and healing, allowing people to have life changing experiential encounters with Jesus. She lives in Ayrshire with her husband Colin and young family.

Seminar outline

Encountering Jesus is the most incredible thing that can happen to an individual.  At Light & Life our aim is to bring ordinary people into an experiential encounter with Him using methods that are culturally relevant. At our outreach events (held in an atmosphere of worship) we combine: personal prophecy, dream interpretation, prophetic art (where we give people a visual interpretation of God's heart for them); massage (where we share the Father's love through touch); healing prayer; and prophetic personality profiles (where ask God to reveal His heart for people and to highlight the unique blend of gifts, talents and character traits that he has placed within them).

Since its formation 3 years ago many thousands have attended our outreaches events (held in: hotels, cafes, pubs, homes, street festivals and New Age fairs), and many hundreds have come to faith.

At this seminar we will run workshops on how to share God's love through each of the outreach methods outlined above and include additional teaching on: being an intimate carrier of His presence; operating under an open Heaven; and provide help and tips on communicating God's love using non religious terminology. Attendees will be given the opportunity of additional 'on-the-job' mentoring by working alongside experienced volunteers at our Light & Life fair (Thursday 26th August at the Radisson Hotel, Glasgow).
